MAURI White Cross Mix is a complete mix formulated to give a consistent, bold white cross on hot cross buns.
It is easy to prepare just mix with oil and water.
BASIC RECIPE INGREDIENTS WEIGHT
MAURI White Cross Mix 1kg
Cold Water 1.2kg (*Or sufficient water to give the desired piping consistency)
Canola Oil 80ml
METHOD STEP 1 Place cold water in bowl and add the MAURI White Cross Mix.
STEP 2 Mix until smooth paste is obtained.
STEP 3 Cover until required to prevent a skin forming.
STEP 4 Pipe onto buns and bake as required.
